To sync your calendar / contact data with your Outlook or Palm Desktop data, you have to properly configure the Nokia PC-Suite software. As far as I know, you have no alternative at the date of writing of this article. And if you use another software to handle your agenda, you won’t be able to sync it easily with your NS 60 device.
The configuration
To configure PC-Suite, you first have to get the serial COM port used by your adaptor. To do this, right-click the bluetooth icon in the System Tray, then select Advanced Configuration. This should bring up a configuration window, select the Local Services tab :
The Bluetooth Configuration (French version)
Note the COM port number the Bluetooth Serial Port is using (COM3 on the screenshot). Note that you must use this way of retrieving the COM port. If you select the "My Bluetooth Places" icon and one of the serial port icons (one for each of your bluetooth device paired with your computer), you will not get the right value :
Not the right screen to pick up the COM port
(Still a french capture!)
Now right-click on the mRouter icon
in the systray and select Properties. Tick the box corresponding to the serial port noted above:
The second serial port must not be selected.
Establishing the link
You are now ready to establish the connection. Check that Bluetooth is activated on your device (ant that you have paired it with the computer). Right-click the Bluetooth icon in the systray and establish a serial link with your device:
The serial link has been successfully established
After a few seconds, the mRouter shall animate and change to the connected state:

Right: Not Connected state
Left: Connected state
You should now be able to start PC-Suite and exchange information with your device.
